Invisalign clear aligners use the most advanced technology to straighten teeth with greater comfort and accuracy.
How Is Invisalign Done?
Invisalign treatment is done by using advanced 3D computer-imaging technology; Invisalign shows you your complete treatment plan from the initial position of your teeth towards the final desired position. Then a series of clear aligners are custom-made for your teeth to move them little by little.
Each aligner is worn for about two weeks before being replaced by the next in the series, gradually moving towards the final look. The treatment time depends on your specific needs and will be decided by your Invisalign Provider.
The aligners are pretty much invisible, they fit snugly over your teeth and are clinically proven to improve control of tooth movement.
You are given sets of aligners in which each one shifts teeth slightly, moving them and evenly rotating them when needed. The Invisalign aligners can comfortably be worn for the recommended 22 hours per day with little disruption.
How To Begin Your Invisalign Journey
The consultation: Once an orthodontic dentist has confirmed that you are eligible for treatment, you will have photos taken, x-rays and digital scans or a dental impression of your teeth. These records will be used to create your clincheck 3d treatment plan.
The Aligners: Your custom-made aligners will be shipped to your orthodontic dentist for collection. You will receive a series of aligners to wear everyday and change at home, every 1-2 weeks.
The results: You will visit your orthodontic dentist around every 6-8 weeks to monitor progress and receive new aligners. After finishing your treatment and reaching the desired look you will have retainers made to maintain your new smile.
