Just to let you know, here at Treetops, for the last 6yrs we have voluntarily joined BDA (British Dental Association) Good Practice, and we are pleased to announce our annual re-application for membership has just been accepted!.
BDA – Good Practice, is a quality assurance programme that allows us to make sure we are communicating with our patients effectively and working to standards of good practice, on our professional and legal responsibilities. This might be done through the advice that BDA provides, through the multiple courses we can attend to better ourselves on an ongoing basis, or the many good practice conferences we attend with other BDA accredited practices.
BDA also supports our dental practices nationally by keeping Oral Health on the political agenda through numerous national health campaigns. Hopefully you can see that being a member of BDA Good Practice helps us to make sure we stay ahead of the game and continually strive to be the best we can be, however to become a member it is not easy….
To be accepted onto the programme, Treetops has had to complete an in-depth self assessment application, which is then read by a BDA assessor, following this, if the assessor thinks we are a good candidate, an on site assessment will then follow, making sure the application holds current, upto date and correct information. Once this process has been followed and we have been accepted, Treetops will then receive an accreditation plaque and logo which helps us celebrate our high standards! so …. we are a BDA good practice member now for the 6th year running! Hoorah!
