It feels amazing to have the new ‘road map’ which will hopefully steer us to a new and happier destination, allowing us to safely see loved ones, enjoy laughter and fun with friends and family and even book that well deserved holiday. It is slowly, slowly we know, yet at Treetops we all feel that there is a glimmer of hope shining through the clouds.
As for how this affects Treetops, be totally assured that our robust safety procedures will remain as stringent as ever and there will be no change to our current protocols. We thank you as always for your understanding and patience, especially with the new waiting room ‘the car park’ and the extremely busy phone lines.
FEEDBACK FROM FEBRUARY NEWSLETTER – THANK YOU
The feedback from February’s newsletter was unbelievable, patients emailing, thanking us for such a fun and informative edition. I cannot explain how important that feedback was for the team, we work so hard to keep you as informed as possible and this really did make us all feel – we are doing an OK job here! THANK YOU
GOOGLE REVIEWS – WOW
We wanted to thank you for the incredible GOOGLE reviews we have received over the past twelve months; they have been a huge motivator for the team and have also been responsible for easing many patients’ fears and anxieties about visiting the Dentist. Patients reading other patient’s experiences are so uplifting and reassuring. The reviews have played an integral part in installing confidence in patients to continue to keep their dental health a priority. So many new patients have said that the reviews were so reassuring and they knew they would be in safe hands.
TREETOPS NEED YOUR HELP!
Treetops aim is to continue to raise awareness of the importance of maintaining optimum dental health and to help combat dental anxiety. We completely understand that for some, a trip to the dentist may evoke feelings of anxiety and fear and this can be an obstacle to patients attending for the dental care and treatment they need. Recent media and our own experiences have identified that these anxieties have been heightened due to the current pandemic.
From listening to our patients, we know that one of the best ways to help alleviate patient’s fears is to hear and read real life experiences. We therefore ask you, our wonderful patients, to continue to help us to spread the word about the importance of dental visits and more importantly how you feel safe and comfortable at our practice and with our team.
Lots of you have already helped us and we thank you. For those of you who would like to get involved please pop a review on GOOGLE or email a review to Liz at ‘firstname.lastname@example.org’.
For those of you excited to get a little more involved, we would absolutely love to hear an audio or video review about your experiences at Treetops.
As a team, to achieve our aim, we have committed to asking our patients for video testimonials, selfies with your dental team and GOOGLE reviews. We sincerely hope you do not mind that on your next visit we may ask you for your help. If you prefer not to, just let us know on the day, we will completely understand and of course respect your decision.
Thanks in advance for helping us continue to combat dental anxiety, for raising awareness that Dental Health is important and for ensuring people know that Treetops Dental Surgery is a safe, professional and friendly community to visit.

What is your job?
Can you tell us what a Dental Nurse does?
Dental Nurse assists the dentist on a day to day basis – we prepare the surgery and also help the patients to make them feel comfortable during their time here at Treetops.
How long have you worked at Treetops I have worked at Treetops since 2015
What did you want to do when you were growing up? Growing up I wanted to work in animal medicine, and qualify as a Vet Nurse. So nursing was always in the forefront of my mind, I just love helping!
What’s the best thing about your job? I enjoy working with the team here at treetops, I know everyone says this but we are like a little working family!
How has COVID-19 affected you at work?
With covid-19 the way we work has changed however it is something we have all adjusted to really well. It is strange how these changes become part of daily working life and now seem second nature to us, it will feel weird taking off the PPE and working without it when the restrictions ease.
Thank you Melissa
Following on from our newsletter last month, we told you that behind the scenes we were having a regular Team Quiz for all the staff via WhatsApp, this was started during the first lockdown to keep morale up during those difficult first few months of the pandemic.
Since then almost a year later, we are still Treetops team quizzing!
This is largely thanks to our Laboratory Technician Steve for taking the time to set up the quizzes and come up with the questions, we all have so much fun and in the dark days of the pandemic, they really lifted spirits, so Thank you Steve!
The winner for the last quiz was Liz – she usually comes last so well done Liz!
Also shout out to Mark, we know who the quiz champion is in Kerrie`s household!
I’m tall when I’m young, and I’m short when I’m old. What am I?
You walk into a room that contains a match, a kerosene lamp, a candle and a fireplace. What would you light first?
The more of this there is, the less you see. What is it?
Oral diseases are a major health concern for many countries and negatively impact people throughout their lives. Oral diseases lead to pain and discomfort, social isolation and loss of self-confidence, and they are often linked to other serious health issues. And yet, there is no reason to suffer: most oral health conditions are largely preventable and can be treated in their early stages.
Look out for more `Be Proud of your mouth` campaign information over the following weeks on our facebook page, Treetops Dental Surgery Codsall Wolverhampton, or our Instagram account tr33tops123 for more tips on how you can keep your Oral health in tip top condition and be proud of your mouth!.
