What is Sunekos Treatment?

Sunekos is an injectable treatment that’s entirely different to filler treatments; this treatment uses a patented formula which combines amino acids (the essential building blocks of elastin and collagen) with hyaluronic acid. Sunekos regenerates the Extra Cellular Matrix (ECM) of your skin. It is ideal for those who want to restore the naturally youthful look of your skin and improve signs of ageing.

How does Sunekos work ?

Sunekos deeply hydrates and plumps the treated tissue, this leads to ‘dermal biogenesis’. This results in a reduction in the severity of your wrinkles, hydration to both the superficial and deep layers of your skin, a desirable volumizing effect and a dramatic boost to your elastin and collagen.

Why is it different to fillers?

Although Sunekos contains hyaluronic acid, which is present in most modern, temporary dermal fillers, it differs in that it does not physically plump the skin, but creates a more natural result by communicating with the skin on an intercellular level so that it can heal and mend itself. This is due to the added amino acids present in Sunekos which are vital in the maintenance of healthy, youthful-looking skin.

Who benefits from Sunekos treatment?

Sunekos can effectively treat a wide range of symptoms of ageing which include:

• Loss of skin tone and skin sagging

• Skin ageing

• Severe wrinkles

• Lack of hydration

• Acne scarring

• Dark circles under eyes

• Sun damage

• Fine lines and wrinkles

Sunekos offers the following benefits for the skin:

• Lifting and tightening

• Increased volume and plumpness of the skin

• Improvement in the appearance of deep wrinkles

• Increased deep and surface skin hydration

• Improvement in contour definition

Sunekos can significantly regenerate your ageing skin and restore a natural-looking, youthful appearance.

What is involved in the treatment process?

Sunekos comes in 2 formulations – Sunekos 200 (suitable if you have less visible wrinkles) and Sunekos 1200 (if you have more advanced visible signs of ageing). They can also be used in combination to provide outstanding results. Your clinician will advise you on which formulation will provide you with the best result.

You will require 4 sessions each between 7 to 10 days apart. Your facial aesthetic clinician will inject in several points, surrounding your area of concern. For optimal results it is suggested you repeat a course every 6 months.

There is also specific protocol which is used for the eye area, as this is commonly an area which is famously hard to treat and an area which is largely complained about by patients.

A further addition to Sunekos treatment – Tropeel

Sunekos have a chemical peel known as ‘Tropeel’ this is a 60% glycolic acid peel and if this is incorporated as part of your Sunekos treatment plan it will help with extra cellular matrix damage, promote epidermal renewal and pigments, pore size excess sebum and improve the overall tone and texture of the skin. The peel is also great for acne and pigmentation issues. There is no peeling of the skin after treatment as it works at a cellular level without causing trauma to the skin on the face.

The results of Sunekos can be enhanced when incorporated with products from its Nutrakos range, they help support and boost treatment results. Please speak with your facial clinician to ask for the right products for you.

What is Sunekos body?

It is a special composition which actively reduces stretch marks and sagging skin in areas such as the arms, knees, inner thighs, thighs and stomach. It can also be used as an effective treatment for the hands.

How does it work?

Sunekos body is injected into the deep dermis using linear threading and bolts like injections using and IFT technique (interstitial fluid technique) meaning the injections are in the direction of the flow (vs lymph nodes) then the clinician will apply a massage technique to the area, again following the flow.

When will I need the treatment?

Sunekos body is designed as a course of treatment to be repeated weekly for 3 to 4 weeks, depending on the area and skin laxity. For optimal results this is advised to be repeated every six months.
